Privacy policy
This policy is for the Social Club Job Explorer Chrome extension, not for the rest of the Max1382 website.
What the extension handles
To provide its features, the extension uses information from your existing Rockstar sign-in session and the Rockstar pages or results you choose to view. This can include your Rockstar nickname and account ID, player and linked-account details, jobs, bookmarks, crew details and rosters, and career information visible on your Career Overview page. It also uses the names, IDs and search terms you enter.
The extension does not ask for your Rockstar password. It may check your current sign-in when you open the tool or use a supported Rockstar page, so the requested features can work.
How it is used and where it goes
That information is used to search and display Rockstar content, manage bookmarks when you choose to add or remove them, and create exports you request. Requests for these features go directly from your browser to Rockstar Games over HTTPS. Rockstar processes those requests under its own terms and privacy practices. Images from Rockstar may be delivered by its content-delivery providers.
The extension does not send your Rockstar account information, searches, jobs, bookmarks, crew information or career details to Max1382, a developer-operated server, an advertising network or an analytics provider. We do not receive or store a copy of that extension activity. The extension does not contain advertising or analytics code.
Temporary storage and downloads
Information needed to keep the current Rockstar sign-in working may be held in extension memory and Chrome's session-only extension storage. Small navigation details may also remain in the open Rockstar tab for that browsing session. The extension does not create a permanent developer-side account or archive of your Rockstar activity.
If you choose to export profiles, jobs, bookmarks, crews or career details, Chrome creates the file on your device. The extension does not upload that file. Uninstalling the extension removes its extension storage; files you downloaded remain on your device until you delete them.
Your choices and security
You can choose whether to use the extension's searches, bookmark actions and exports. You can stop using it or remove it from Chrome at any time. The extension uses your browser's existing Rockstar sign-in and secure connections to Rockstar. Keep your Rockstar account and downloaded files safe, especially when using a shared device.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Our use of information obtained through Chrome extension features follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use information only to provide the extension's stated features and do not sell it or use it for personalised advertising.
Changes to this policy
If the extension's information practices change, we will update this page and make the change clear to users before the changed version is released.
